Meg Woods

Meg has over 40 years’ investment experience and several accolades to her name. These include Debrett’s “People of Today”, being voted top-rated investment analyst in South Africa and becoming the first female broking member of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

Prior to joining Veritas in 2000, Meg spent over 20 years in a variety of investment and research roles. She was Head of UK Equities at Colonial First State Investments in London, Head of Global Equities at SLC Asset Management, Head of Asian Equities at FP Asset Management, a global equities portfolio manager at HSBC Asset Management, an equities analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York and Head of Research at Mathison & Hollidge in Johannesburg.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Meg is an active member of her community. At Veritas she Chairs the Charity Committee, she is a Fellow of Cancer Research UK, Treasurer of High Street Church in Harpenden and Editor & Treasurer of The Village Voice for her local parish.

She holds a B. Comm, an MBA (gold medallist) and is a CFA® Charterholder.
