James Moncrieff

James joined the team in 2015 and is responsible for investment research, stewardship and portfolio management. He co-chairs our weekly fund managers’ meeting, where his strong investment and interpersonal skills are vital for maintaining our flat culture of decision making. James also takes a leading role in Veritas’ charity committee, responsible for our internal fundraising and charitable giving programs.

Prior to joining Veritas, James worked at MHP Communications, a strategic communication consultancy focused on solving problems for clients operating in a networked age. He brings these valuable analytical and communication skills to the investment team.

James is a CFA® Charterholder and Member of the CFA Institute. He holds a Master’s in International Conflict from King’s College London.
